COVID-19 Updates

The Cajun Coast is currently under Phase III of the COVID pandemic.  We have provided the following resources to our traveling public and hospitality partners in an effort to comply with travel regulations and recommendations at this time. Please follow us on Facebook as well as the website for updates as we have information. Also, don't forget to fill out your Census, to make sure the Cajun Coast gets properly counted for federal funding!

We know that our hospitality partners and workforce are suffering right now. We will get through this together! Please see the resources below, and make sure to fill out the business impact surveys or other request from your Louisiana Travel Association. Also, make sure to complete your Census documents, so the Cajun Coast is properly counted for Federal Funding.

LWC Rapid Response Unit
The LWC Rapid Response Unit is available for assistance concerning temporary or permanent layoffs due to Covid-19. Workers who are impacted by closures or reduced hours may be eligible for Unemployment Insurance benefits.
