Dean Dillon is a BMI Icon – a country music artist and songwriter. He started playing guitar at the age of 7 and by the age of 15 decided that Nashville was his future after appearing on a variety show. Dillion arrived in Nashville in the 70’s after hitchhiking from his hometown of Lake City, Tennessee. He has recorded six studio albums and has charted several singles on the billboard chart. In addition to his own recordings, he’s shared his songwriting talents. In 2002, Dillion was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Dean has written or co-written an amazing list of songs including 55 songs for George Strait including “The Chair”, “Easy Come, Easy Go”, “She Let Herself Go”, and “Marina del Rey.” He’s worked with Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Lee Ann Womack and more. Dean Dillion has earned the title “Songwriting Icon” and we hope he continues to share his talents.
