1. What should I wear when I visit?
What To Wear- Light clothing is recommended when visiting the Cajun Coast. A raincoat and umbrella are handy year-round but especially during the summer months. During the winter months, heavier clothing is recommended. But leave the sport coat, tie and high heels at home: evenings are casual on the Coast.
2. What is the population of the Cajun Coast?
The Cajun Coast consists of St. Mary Parish. This population and the two major areas are below. St. Mary Parish - 52,218 Morgan City - 12,769 Franklin - 8,287
3. Where is the Cajun Coast located?
Location- St. Mary Parish is located midway between New Orleans & Lafayette via highway 90. We're 90 miles from New Orleans, 40 miles from Lafayette, and 70 miles from Baton Rouge on the Gulf of Mexico in the south-central portion of the state.
